The NEWLY revised Cost of Doing Business Survey contains information from 2022 and has been broken down into two Modules. This report presents findings from Module 1 of the 2022 NADL Business Survey. Conducted annually since 2005, the NADL Business Survey gathers national-level data about the business operations of U.S. dental laboratories.

Module 1 includes questions about respondent demographics, laboratory characteristics, technician compensation, benefits, and training. Module 2 will focus on fees, sales/profits, and outsourcing. Those surveyed were NADL Members, Certified Dental Technicians (CDT), Recognized Graduates (RG), Certified Dental Laboratories (CDL), and JDT subscribers.
